Internal Funding Sources

Internal grants can help to support the career development of early career researchers, sustain the research programs of productive investigators, foster new interdisciplinary collaborations, and lay the groundwork for successful external funding submissions. Research Development has compiled a list of internal funding opportunities that are open to College of Medicine researchers. These grant opportunities are offered by various departments and business units across Penn State University. This list is intended as a general planning guide. By clicking the plus (+) sign next to each program, you will gain access to additional information, such as program funding priorities, key dates from the latest funding cycle (e.g. application deadlines, award start dates) and the name of the Administering Unit. Research Development recommends that interested applicants reach out to the Administering Unit if they have any questions.
