Learn More About Emergency Medicine Research
Our Department of Emergency Medicine faculty, staff, residents and students work together on research. We exchange ideas and develop new approaches to clinical problems. We value:

Our team participates in both National Institutes of Health and industry-funded clinical trials. We collaborate with other departments, including:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Internal Medicine
- Trauma Surgery
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Therapy
We also conduct research with pre-hospital providers in Penn State Health Emergency Medicine, Life Lion and other emergency medical services agencies in the southcentral Pennsylvania region.
